چکیده

از دغدغه های اصلی کشورهای درحال توسعه، قرار گرفتن در مسیر رشد و توسعه یافتگی است. مرور ادبیات رشد اقتصادی نشان می دهد که کیفیت نهادها و زیرساخت های اجتماعی در کشورهای درحال توسعه از عوامل مهم تأثیرگذار بر رشد و توسعه اقتصادی محسوب می شوند. بسیاری از تحلیلگران نیز بر این باورند که در بین عوامل نهادی، حاکمیت قانون یکی از مهم‌ترین مؤلفه های نظام مناسب برای سرمایه گذاری و رشد اقتصادی است. هدف مطالعه حاضر، بررسی تأثیر متغیر نهادی حاکمیت قانون بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای دی هشت (D-8) طی دوره زمانی 2012-1996 است. بدین منظور از مدل رگرسیونی انتقال ملایم تابلویی (PSTR) استفاده شده است. نتایج حاصل از برآورد مدل، با رد فرضیه خطی بودن، یک مدل دو رژیمی با حد آستانه ای 511/0- را برای شاخص حاکمیت قانون در کشورهای تحت بررسی پیشنهاد می نماید. نتایج مطالعه حاکی از تأثیرگذاری مثبت شاخص حاکمیت قانون بر رشد اقتصادی، البته با شدت بیشتر در رژیم دوم می باشد. نتایج هم‌چنین نشان می-دهند که متغیرهای مخارج تحصیل و صادرات مواد خام کشاورزی در رژیم اول تأثیر منفی و در رژیم دوم تأثیر مثبت بر رشد اقتصادی دارند. سایر نتایج نیز حاکی از معنی داری ضریب تأثیرگذاری مثبت شاخص توسعه مالی و شاخص باز بودن اقتصاد و نیز تأثیرگذاری منفی نرخ تورم در هر دو رژیم می باشند.
