Duties of Editors
Acceptance of articles
Editors must ensure that all submitted articles are reviewed by at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field before publication. The editor of the journal is responsible for making the decision to accept or reject the submitted articles according to the scientific validity and importance of the article for researchers and readers, the opinions of judges and legal requirements. The editor of the journal accepts the article by taking into account issues related to copyright, plagiarism, etc., as well as the discretion of the referees and editorial members
Fair review
Duties of Reviewers
Fair review
expert review is one of the main elements of the process of reviewing articles in scientific journals. Judges must evaluate the articles objectively, fairly and professionally. Judges should avoid personal biases in their opinions and evaluations and express their opinions clearly and well-reasoned. Reviewers should provide reasoned and fair critiques to help editorial members make decisions and authors to improve the paper. The comments of the referees are sent by the editor to the author for making corrections.
Confidentiality
Information about articles submitted by authors must be kept confidential and treated as non-disclosure information. Reviewers should not disclose information about the article to anyone other than the editor without the author's written permission. This also applies to articles that the referee withdraws from the referee review
Sources
The referees are required to identify and review the sources referred to by the author. Any conclusions or arguments that have already been raised should be cited along with the source. Also, the referees are obliged to inform the editor if they see any similarity or overlap between the submitted work and another article
Duties of authors
Reporting of findings
The authors are committed to report their findings completely and to be particularly careful in presenting their findings and interpreting them. The article should contain sufficient details and sources. In such a way that it is possible for other researchers to access the same data set to repeat the research. Fraudulent or knowingly false statements are unethical and unacceptable behavior
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism
All information in the article must be free of any plagiarism, forgery, lies or omission of important material. Authors should ensure that they write and submit only completely original work, and if they use the results of other people's work, they cite it properly. Publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the work reported in the article should also be cited. Plagiarism takes many forms, from "plagiarizing" someone else's article with the author's name, to copying or paraphrasing important parts of another article (without citing the source) or claiming the results of research done by others. Plagiarism in all its forms is unethical and unacceptable behavior
Multiple, Duplicate, Redundant, or Concurrent Submission/Publication
Articles that essentially describe the same research should not be published in more than one journal or primary publication. Therefore, authors should not submit for review an article that has already been published in another journal. Sending an article to more than one journal at the same time is unethical and unacceptable behavior
Authorship of the article
Only people who meet the authorship criteria should be listed as authors on the article because they must have the ability to undertake the content provided. These criteria are: (1) make a significant contribution to the conception, design, implementation, collection or analysis of research data; (2) prepared the article or revised its content. (3) have seen and approved the final version of the article and agreed to submit it for publication
Review process
Authors are required to participate in the review process and fully cooperate by promptly responding to the editor's requests for raw data, explanations and proof of ethical approval, and copyright permissions. When submitting an article for review, authors must fully respond to all reviewers' comments and within the specified deadline (maximum of two weeks), revise their article and revise the article file (highlighted changes) and the response file to the reviewers to send through the journal's website
Disclosure and conflict of interest:
Authors should disclose at the earliest possible stage (usually by submitting a conflict of interest form at the time of article submission and including a statement in the article), any conflict of interest that might influence the results or their interpretation, and any State the possible conflict of interest (direct financial, indirect financial, professional conflict and intellectual property) clearly
Duties of the publisher

Access to the content of the publication
The publisher is obliged to guarantee permanent access to the content of the published articles with the help of organizations and maintaining its digital archive
FUM Policy on Using AI and LLMs
In compliance with the position taken by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (link), in all FUM Press publications, including academic papers, authors may use AI and LLMs tools to prepare initial drafts “in the Materials and Methods (or similar section)” of their manuscript. They may do so transparently, and only if they maintain full accountability and responsibility for the content of their work. Since these tools cannot take responsibility for submitted manuscripts, “AI tools cannot meet the requirements for authorship” at this stage. FUM Press remains strictly committed to the long-established academic standards regarding authorship, plagiarism, transparency, and accountability; authors are thus required to properly document and state their use of AI or LLMs.
Journal policy in the face of scientific theft
